Sri Aurobindo Society, a Society registered at Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India, under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, now West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961 ("SAS" or the "Society") has main administrative office in Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry). The Society has been recognized by the Government of India as
- 1. a Not-for-profit Organization under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act
- 2. a Research Institute under Section 35(1)(iii)
- 3. an Institution of Importance throughout India under Section 10(23C)(iv)
Edupreneur Village is a programme of SAS to support Education Entrepeneurs across the country in creating selfsustainable organizations, which can then transform the Education in the country. SAS has a strong commitment to all the Stakeholders of Edupreneur Village programme (including existing Entrepreneurs, aspiring Entrepreneurs, Investors, Employees, Mentors, Partners, Collaborates, Speakers) and Users of www.edupreneurvillage.com (“Website”) and telecommunication media like SMS, email, phone calls etc (together the "Incubator”) including respecting and ensuring that Your privacy is protected. In this Privacy Policy, the use of words like “we” or “us” or “our” shall mean appropriate reference to the Society. We have prepared this Data Protection and Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to inform You of the privacy principles that govern this Website. We have designed this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle data collected from Stakeholders and Users of the Incubator who register for Services and submit information to the Incubator through the internet or telecommunications media (the Stakeholders and Users shall be individually or collectively referred to as “You” wherever the context so requires). This Privacy Policy also covers our treatment of personally identifiable information collected from User information that we acquire in the course of our business.
By accepting this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions, You expressly consent that all Your personal information collected by us through this Website may be used and disclosed as set out in this Privacy Policy and subject to the applicable law. If You do not agree please do not use or access our Website or the Incubator. By accessing the services provided by the Incubator You agree to the collection and use of Your data by the Society in the manner provided in this Privacy Policy. We use Your personal information to facilitate the services You request. You agree that we may use Your personal information to contact You and deliver information to You that, in some cases, are targeted to Your interests, such as best offers for a particular month in a particular period for a specific journey, relevant news and information about our site. Internal Service Providers:

In order to facilitate interaction among the Stakeholders and the Users of the services offered by Stakeholders, as a Stakeholder, You will be sent via SAS communication systems, the necessary information of the Users of the services. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, You agree that, with respect to other User's personally identifiable information that You obtain through the Incubator or through a www.edupreneurvillage.com related communication or SAS facilitated transaction; the information shall be used for the purpose for which it has been collected and if requested by the other party or by us, You will permanently delete such information from Your email box, phone storage, browser or any other application where You would have stored it.
We may also share with the Stakeholder and the User, the statistical rating information of the other party, we collect as per workings on the Incubator.
Agreement by and privacy of Persons under 18 years of age:
Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to use our Website and we request that minors (under the age of 18) should not submit any personal information to us. If You are under the age of 18, You cannot offer, hire or place quotes for any services on the Website, which is not prohibited to be offered to minors. If You wish to hire or offer such a service on the Incubator such hire or offer may be made by Your legal or natural guardian who have registered as Users of the Website. Accessing or changing Your personally identifiable information:
To protect Your privacy and security, we will verify Your identity before granting access or making changes to Your identification information. If You have registered Your profile on the Incubator Your User ID and Password are required in order to access Your profile information. This User ID and password combination is for Your exclusive use and must not be shared with anybody else. It is Your responsibility to choose a password that can’t be guessed easily. When You call our call center, Your identity is ascertained using a user code given to You at the time of completion of registration.
If You believe any information we hold about You is incorrect or incomplete, please inform us and we shall rectify it as early as reasonably possible.

By using the Incubator and/or by providing Your information, You consent to the collection and use of the information You disclose to the Incubator in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including but not limited to Your consent for sharing Your information with the Internal Service Providers (as mentioned above).

Terms & Conditions
- 1. Open to (an) entrepreneur(s) with a new business idea or (an) existing entrepreneur(s) with a startup in its early stages
- 2. Prize money for the winning teams / individuals of Edupreneur Village Challenge (Business Plan Competition), will be equally distributed between the team members who submit the winning Business Plan

- 4. The timing of the entry will be decided based on the time stamp of the email as recorded on Zoho Mail Service, which is the email service provider for Edupreneur Village Challenge

- 8. Business Plan found to be infringing on Intellectual Property rights of any other individual or entity will be rejected. The team or entity submitting Business Plan will be solely responsible for the consequences of any Intellectual Property infringement
- 9. In case of multiple entries received for a single Business Plan, the entry received first will be considered as a valid entry
- 10. The identity if the individual, team or entity will be ascertained based on the Government ID proof submitted at the time of the Business Plan submission
- 11. Any dispute regarding the conduct of Edupreneur Village Challenge will be decided under the sole discretion of Edupreneur Village management
