Student K12 Entrepreneurship
K12 Entrepreneurship
Need of the program
The student entrepreneurship program addresses a crucial need by providing a platform for the practical application of skills acquired in traditional classrooms. By emphasizing the development of high-order thinking skills, such as critical and creative thinking, it prepares students for the complexities of the real world. Transitioning from rote learning to experiential learning, the program offers a structured approach that fosters innovation and problem- solving abilities.
Â
Through hands-on experiences and real-world challenges, students gain invaluable insights, empowering them to thrive in dynamic environments and drive meaningful change.
Objective
To foster higher-order thinking skills and an entrepreneurial mindset in students through aligned activities with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4).
In the initial stage, we establish partnerships with schools through signing of MoUs, understanding their needs closely. Over 4 months, we will develop six comprehensive entrepreneurship booklets, guiding students from ideation to execution. We will foster innovation by setting up Entrepreneurship Cells in schools, providing spaces for creative collaboration. Through a four-month program, students engage in workshops and competitions to apply their skills, enhancing confidence for future entrepreneurship.Â
Through Guest Lecturers and AMAs in addition to the booklets, the students will engage with industry stakeholders.
